
Since 1991, DICTA has been the main Australian venue for the presentation of advances and research results on digital image computing. From its establishment, DICTA has been a biannual meeting. In 2008, it will turn into an annual conference. Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of 6 to 8 pages, including figures, references and results.

Papers will be accepted only by electronic submission at the DICTA 2008 web site. Each submitted paper will be reviewed by at least two members of the Program Committee. Accepted papers will be published by the IEEE Conference Publishing Services (CPS). The Proceedings will be available to delegates at the conference and a selection of the best papers will be published separately in a special issue of the IET Computer Vision Journal.
DICTA 2008 will take place at the Rydges Lakeside Canberra. The important dates for DICTA 2008 are:

Please note that it is a condition of publication that accepted papers are presented by one of the authors. Presenters for accepted papers must register before the camera ready deadline to avoid withdrawal from the conference proceedings and programme. Non-student registrations may cover up to three (3) papers if and only if the presenter is the same for every of the named papers at registration time.
