DICTA is the main Australian conference on machine vision, image processing and related areas.In 2007, it had approximately 80 papers with 110 delegates. Since its establishment, DICTA has been a biannual meeting. In 2008, it will turn into an annual conference. It is the conference of the Australian Pattern Recognition Society.
DICTA 2008 is being held in Canberra, Australia in December 2008. The venue for the conference will be Rydges Lakeside Canberra on London Circuit, located in the heart of Canberra. 2008 will be the first year in which DICTA is an annual conference. The format of the conference will be single-track with both oral presentations and posters.
